Courtney Brown

Coming in at number three, dominant defensive end Courtney Brown.

Brown played in Happy Valley from 1996 to 1999.  He was a starter his last three years and named All-Big Ten those years.  His senior year in 1999 was his most successful, being named team MVP, All-American , Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, and he was named a finalist for the Nagurski Trophy, Lombardi Award and Bednarik Award.

Still the school record holder for most sacks in a career with 33 , Brown also has the school record for most tackles for loss in a career (70) and in a season (29).

Brown is one of two Nittany Lions to be drafted number one overall in the NFL Draft.
