Dave Robinson

Second on the list is defensive end Dave Robinson.

Robinson played for the Nittany Lions from 1960-1962 for Rip Engle.  A versatile player on both offense and defense, Robinson had an excellent career at Penn State.

Robinson started 55 games straight games as a Nittany Lion.  In 1962, he was named a first team All-American, College Football’s Defensive Lineman of the Year and Player of the Year.

In the 1963 NFL draft, Robinson was a first round pick.  He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1997 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013,
