Special Teams:

The special teams that struggled all year didn’t play terrible but they weren’t great either in the TaxSlayer Bowl.

Punter Daniel Pasquariello had one of his better days.  He only had a 36.5 yard average on six kicks, but he downed two inside the twenty.  One of the punts was downed at the Georgia five yard line, which was great.

Brandon Polk had three returns on kickoffs and one he took back for 33 yards.  Gregg Garrity did nothing but fair catch punts.  Georgia had one nice punt return deep into Penn State territory, but the defense held and the Bulldogs ended up missing their field goal attempt on that possession.

Tyler Davis hit his one field goal attempt and both of his extra points.  I liked the call for Joey Julius to onside kick after Penn State’s first touchdown and it nearly worked.
