Larry Johnson:  Coach Larry Johnson is currently serving as the interim head coach of the Nittany Lions team.  He is also the only remaining staff member of both the Joe Paterno and Bill O’Brien tenures.  Johnson has been in charge of the Nittany Lions defensive line since 2000. Johnson has been one of Penn State’s best recruiters and is being leaned on to keep the current crop of recruits together.  It is widely believed that he has interest in pursuing the full-time head coaching position at Penn State and would accept an interview if offered.
