Notre Dame at Oklahoma (-10.5)

The Fighting Irish keep finding ways to win, and keep a 0 in the loss column.  They face their biggest test to date Saturday in Norman, against the Sooners.  Oklahoma’s only hiccup came against still undefeated Kansas State.  Can the Irish defense keep the high flying OU offense in check?

Matt – Oklahoma

The clock is about to strike midnight on the Cinderalla Irish season.  Oklahoma is by far the best team Notre Dame has faced, especially on the offensive side of the ball.  I expect Landry Jones to put up big numbers and the Sooners to run away with this one.

Tim – Oklahoma

I really like Notre Dame’s defense, but they haven’t seen anything like Oklahoma yet. I think the Sooners get 30+ points on Saturday and I don’t see Notre Dame being able to keep up.

Craig – Oklahoma

I hate this line because it was 9.5 and then 10. The half-point worries me but I will lay the points regardless. Oklahoma has a nice defense this year, and I don’t think ND can score enough to keep up. Oklahoma’s offense is too good in this one.

Corey – Notre Dame

This is another game that I think will be closer than people think.  Everyone keeps waiting for Notre Dame to get beat.  Each week its another team that will knock the irish from the ranks of the unbeaten.  Perhaps this is the week.  Playing in Norman is certainly going to be coach Kelly’s tough challenge to date, but the Irish boast the nation’s 6th rated defense.  This game will come down to how well the Irish defense can slow down the 17th ranked Sooners offense.  If the the Irish’s defense can keep them in the game, I like this to be a game that doesn’t get out of the 20s.  If not, it could get ugly real quick.  My gut says the irish keep it close enough throughout to cover the 10.5 points.
