Florida (-6.5) vs. Georgia

The World’s Largest Cocktail Party goes off again this weekend in Jacksonville, and for the first time in a few years, it will be a big one.  Florida can take control of the SEC East with a win, while Georgia can do the same with the upset over their rivals from Gainesville.

Matt – Georgia

This is Florida’s 3rd top 10 opponent in the last 4 weeks, and a rivalry game to boot.  After this weekend, they won’t sniff a ranked team until Florida State to end the regular season.  In other words, letdown.  Georgia’s offense will test Florida’s strong defense more than any team has to date, and that will keep this one close.

Tim – Florida

This line opened at 3.5, which I knew was too low. I continue to be surprised by the lines Vegas is giving Florida, but they’ll get all the respect they deserve from me. Florida by two scores.

Craig – Florida

I believe this one opened closer to 3.5 but under a TD is still a good number. Florida’s offense hasn’t been great, and it worries me in a shootout. I think Florida’s defense will do it’s job and hold Georgia to a low total.

Corey – Florida

Each week this Florida team gets a test, and each week they pass with flying colors.  Count this game as being no different.  This is Georgia’s last shot a being SEC East champs.  A loss here relegates them to 3rd pace in the SEC East and a mid-tier bowl game.  Aaron Murray will try to get Gurshall involved in this game early and often, but the Florida defense is just too stout.  Look for them to do to Georgia what they did to LSU, and shut down the Bulldogs running game.  Florida’s offense should be able to ground-and-pound their way to the win and cover in the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.
