Oregon State at UCLA (-10)

Two of the early season Pac 12 surprises meet in the Rose Bowl.  Both the Beavers and Bruins have Big 10 wins to their credit, and look to make their mark early in the conference season.

Matt – UCLA

The Bruins are ranked in the top 20 in virtually every offensive category and boast the best running back you have never heard of, Jonathan Franklin.  Franklin already has 541 yards at 8.2 per carry and 3 TDs.  Oregon State shut down Montee Ball, but Wisconsin’s offense is as mess.  UCLA wears down the Oregon State defense in the 2nd half and covers.

Tim – Oregon State

Having only played one game, it’s hard to know who the Beavers are, but I’m just not buying the Bruins. I also like Oregon State coming off of a bye with only one game of film for UCLA to study. I’ll take the two scores on the road.

Craig – UCLA

Had UCLA -17 over Houston last week and despite Oregon State being a better test than Houston I believe UCLA’s offense is just too good. UCLA should be able to get near 40 and I can’t see Oregon State being able to break that 30 mark.

Corey – Oregon State

UCLA has the leading rusher in the country in Johnathan Franklin, they have the 5th rated rush offense in the country and the 2nd rated total offense.  While Oregon State, which has played just one game, against Wisconsin, have the 2nd rated rush defense in FBS.  Something has to give in this game.  My hunch is the Beavers defense keeps them in it for the entire game.
