Missouri at South Carolina (-10)
Missouri hits the road in the SEC for the first time, after their conference debut ended with a sound beating from Georgia. After an opening week win at Vanderbilt, Marcus Lattimore and the Gamecocks look to move to 2-0 in the SEC.
Matt – South Carolina
Georgia rather unceremoniously welcomed Missouri to the SEC with a blowout in Columbia. Heading east to the “other” Columbia won’t be much kinder to the Tigers. South Carolina features arguably the top defense in the SEC, and a solid, if not spectacular offense. It won’t be the blowout of two weeks ago, but it won’t be close either.
Tim – South Carolina
I really like this Gamecock team. An elite running back, speed on the perimeters and a very strong defense that possesses one of the best DEs in the nation. Missouri is coming off of a big loss at home to Georgia, followed by a narrow win over Arizona State. Now they’ll go on the road in the SEC for the first time. I think this one gets out of hand.
Craig – Missouri
South Carolina is a bit overrated this year. Mizzou should be able to put up the points against a good South Carolina defense. I think despite a large spread, Mizzou might be able to pull the upset outright.
Corey -Missouri
Missouri is starting to see what life in the SEC is really all about. Granted Arizona State, Missouri’s opponent last week, is not in the SEC, but that game still took its toll. South Carolina has been impressive in their 3 wins. Just like the Georgia game, I think Missouri come out and gives a valiant effort, but comes out on the short end of this one. Still, i think they have enough to cover in this game.
