James Franklin:  Coach Franklin is currently the head coach of the Vanderbilt Commodores, in the SEC Conference.  Coach Franklin has ties to the Pennsylvania area as he was a former player and coach for East Stroudsburg.  Franklin has been an assistant coach at the NFL level (GB Packers WR coach – 2005), and also a coordinator at the collegiate level, most recently as the Maryland offensive coordinator from 2008-10 prior to taking over at Vanderbilt in 2011.  Coach Franklin is noted for his ability to work with and mentor quarterbacks which would bode well for current Penn State freshman quarterback Christian Hackenberg.
