Out of halftime, an injury update was released regarding defensive end Zuriah Fisher and his availability for the remainder of the game.
The Peacock broadcast revealed that Fisher left the sidelines early before halftime and met with the training staff. According to Peacock and reporters in-person, Fisher limped off the field and removed himself from the game. He was grabbing his right leg before halftime and came out of the locker room still sidelining himself.
It appears to be a knee injury, per Peacock and reporters. Fisher is trying to stretch out and move around, but reportedly does not look like he has his helmet out in the second half. His status is unofficially questionable, but it will be shocking to see Fisher return against Iowa.

Zuriah Fisher sustains injury mid-game on Saturday and is unlikely to return against the Hawkeyes
In Fisher's absence, freshmen Yvan Kemajou and Chaz Coleman are getting more reps. Coleman has yet to post a tackle as the start of the fourth quarter approaches.
In the second quarter, Hawkeye Kaden Wetjen got the first carry on first-and-10, but Kemajou quickly put an end to the rushing attempt. He recorded a tackle for loss, bringing up second-and-13 for Iowa. Kemajou's play set the Penn State defense up to force the Hawkeyes to punt.
Even though Coleman has not made an impact play so far in the game, Iowa prepared for the depth Penn State has at the position. Unlike other areas on defense, the defensive end room has a lot left to give with or without Fisher.
On Saturday, Fisher had one solo tackle in the first quarter.
The defensive end also struggled with injury earlier in 2025. He was out in Week 1 as a precautionary decision and made his return to the field in Week 2 at Beaver Stadium. He also missed the 2024 season due to injury.
In 2025, the defensive end recorded 10 tackles, two tackles for loss, two sacks, one forced fumble, and one pass breakup over five games, not including Week 8 against Iowa. Without any injury updates in the fourth quarter, Fisher's night is more than likely over and he has extra time in the bye week to recover and regroup if possible.
