Penn State football produced Super Bowl champions left and right since 1967. In all but five championships games, the Nittany Lions had at least one player representing them in the final game of the NFL season. On Sunday, Feb. 8, that is no different and Penn State is guaranteed to have another ring-worthy player.

New England Patriots offensive lineman Caedan Wallace and Seattle Seahawks long snapper Chris Stoll face each other as the respective AFC and NFC champions in Super Bowl LX. The 17-3 Patriots and 16-3 Seahawks go head-to-head on Sunday. Kickoff is slated for 6:30 p.m. ET at Levi Stadium in San Francisco, Calif.
OL Caedan Wallace and LS Chris Stoll represent Penn State on the Super Bowl stage
Wallace played for the Nittany Lions from 2019 to 2023. He redshirted his true freshman season, playing in four contests. From 2020-23, the offensive lineman played in 43 games starting at right tackle. In the 2024 NFL Draft, Wallace got his opportunity to take his talents to the professional level. New England selected him in the third round, 68th overall.
In his rookie season, Wallace played 129 snaps over six games, which included two starts as well. An ankle injury cut the season short for him and he took a backseat as a second-string lineman in head coach Mike Vrabel's system in 2025.
As for Stoll, he played at Penn State from 2019-22 and appeared in 48 contests. He was a preferred walk-on at long snapper for the Nittany Lions and ultimately won the Patrick Manelly Award in 2022. The award recognizes the nation's top long snapper in college football. Stoll joined Seattle as an undrafted free agent in 2023 and has been its long snapper ever since. He will be guaranteed to be out on the field for special teams on Sunday.
The two under-the-radar former Penn Staters playing against each other ensures that there will be 51 alumni owning a Super Bowl rings. Whoever's team comes out on top also bumps the number of ex-Nittany Lion Super Bowl champions up to 69.
