Big Ten fans have fallen in love with the conference’s iconic “Maps” commercial that, until this offseason, began at the Rose Bowl and spanned from Nebraska across to Rutgers. Well, now with the official introduction of UCLA, USC, Oregon, and Washington, the commercial has a new look.

Instead of the Rose Bowl as the starting point, we begin in the Pacific Northwest with Washington and Oregon before panning down to Southern California where we see the Rose Bowl with the other two newcomers, UCLA and USC. The coast-to-coast expansion of the Big Ten is complete and this commercial cements that.

The commercial is still the best, but it’ll take some getting used to. Especially if Oregon and Washington, two recent powerhouse programs, start to shake up the power structure of the Big Ten.

Oregon is best set up to contend for a conference title in its inaugural season, picked to finish No. 2 in the preseason poll at Big Ten Media Days and with the Heisman Trophy favorite, Dillon Gabriel on the roster.

The Nittany Lions slotted in at No. 3, just behind the Ducks, but Penn State gets to avoid Oregon on the schedule this season. Penn State does have matchups scheduled with UCLA and Washington at Beaver Stadium, along with a trip out to LA to play USC.

The "Maps" commercial is growing and so is the amount of travel for each of the teams featured in it. UCLA will travel the most miles in the conference at 22,048 with trips to Penn State, Rutgers, Nebraska, Washington, and a non-conference game in Hawaii.
