Bowman snuck into the back of Day 2 in the 2010 NFL Draft, but he was still a hidden gem that the 49ers were very happy to uncover. Bowman only played for seven seasons and retired before the age of 30, but in those seven seasons, he was a first-team All-Pro four times.
Bowman finished his career with 798 total tackles with a career-high 154 in 2015, one year removed from a season-ending knee injury that caused him to miss all of 2014. He led the league in tackles that year, but his production started to decline in 2016.
Bowman is an LBU legend for what he did at Penn State and what he developed into for the 49ers.
