Kortright arrives at Washington after spending four years at Quinnipiac and Rhode Island. He averaged 10.0 points and 3.7 assists per game last season for the Rams.
Washington significantly revamped its roster, adding six new guards to the roster. Amongst all of them, Kortright has the most experience as being a primary ball handler, more than DJ Davis at Butler last season, for example. With the abundance of talent at this position in the Big Ten, he ranks sixteenth.
