Smith tops this list as the best point guard in the Big Ten. He averaged 12.0 points, 7.5 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game while shooting 43.1% from three. I’m not sure there is much room for debate on this ranking, as Smith, along with two-time National Player of the Year Zach Edey, led the Boilermakers to an NCAA Championship Game appearance.
Smith averaged 1.6 steals per game, as he might be the best all around player in the country. He will be a joy to watch in the Big Ten again next season, this time without college basketball superstar Zach Edey.
