Baldwin, the reigning Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, comes in at two on this list. Baldwin arrived at Penn State last season after three at VCU, following his head coach Mike Rhoades. He averaged 14.2 points, 6.0 assists, and an incredible 2.7 steals per game.
Baldwin did everything for the Nittany Lions last season, as their best player on both ends of the floor. He played better after guard Kanye Clary was dismissed from the program, which opened up the offense for him. Baldwin might be the most valuable player on this list to his team, but I do think there is one point guard who is a better player than him.
