Thornton has spent two seasons at Ohio State starting at the point guard position, and that will not be different for his junior season. Thornton averaged 15.7 points and 4.8 assists per game last season for the Buckeyes, all while dealing with his coach getting fired mid season.
Thornton improved significantly from his freshman season, and I expect him to play proficiently next season with new head coach Jake Diebler. I want to rank him higher than this, but I feel strongly about the other five starting point guards.
