Last season, Penn State began the year with a commanding 38-15 win over West Virginia at Beaver Stadium. Then, the Nittany Lions went on to win 10 games with a Peach Bowl loss to cap things off while the Mountaineers went 9-4 and finished with a win in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl.

After Neal Brown’s surprise resurgence in Morgantown, WVU is a feisty underdog in the 2024 season opener and both programs have their sights set on the newly expanded 12-team College Football Playoff.

It’s one of the biggest games on the national slate for Week 1, so here’s how to watch Penn State and West Virginia.
