Penn State’s all-time record against every team on the 2024-25 schedule

In the 10 years of the four-team College Football Playoff, Penn State was left on the outside looking in. Now, the Nittany Lions and head coach James Franklin have an excellent opportunity to compete for a national championship with the expanded 12-team CFP in 2024-25. 

The CFP isn’t the only thing that got bigger. The Big Ten’s growth to 18 teams with the addition of UCLA, USC, Oregon, and Washington made the conference more geographically expansive and difficult to navigate with at least two of those programs looking like CFP contenders out of the Big Ten in Year 1. 

Penn State’s schedule in 2024 won’t be easy, but the Nittany Lions do get Ohio State at home and avoid both Michigan and Oregon. Let’s take a look at the historical records and most recent matchups with the 12 teams on the slate this year.
