Penn State football has never beaten these FBS teams

The Penn State Nittany Lions have beaten 85 different FBS teams in their 130-year history, but these eight teams have beaten Penn State and the Nittany Lions have never gotten revenge.

Not only have the Nittany Lions not beaten UNC football, but Penn State has yet to score a single point against the Tar Heels. The only matchup came on October 2, 1943, which UNC won in Chapel Hill, 19-0.

In 1943, Bob Higgins led Penn State to a 5-3-1 record and was four years away from his only undefeated season as the head coach of the Nittany Lions.

In 2024, the Pac-12 will dissolve, with the best pieces leaving for the Big Ten. The ACC could be the next conference on the chopping block, so there is a chance that UNC and Penn State become regular opponents at some point in the future.
