Announcers for Bowling Green vs. Penn State on Big Ten Network in Week 4
By Josh Yourish
Penn State spent Week 3 on a bye, recuperating after a 2-0 start with wins over West Virginia in Morgantown and Bowling Green at Beaver Stadium in Happy Valley. On Saturday, in Week 4, the Nittany Lions will home again welcoming another MAC opponent, 0-3 Kent State. The Big Ten Network will have coverage for the 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff.
In Penn State's home opener in Week 2, the Bowling Green Falcons gave the Nittany Lions everything they could handle. Penn State held on for a 34-27 win, outscoring Bowling Green 14-3 in the second half after the Falcons held a 24-20 lead at the break. Penn State defensive coordinator Tom Allen had a tough time containing his former quarterback from his time at Indiana, Connor Bazelak, but Kent State’s offense shouldn’t be so tough to slow down.
The Golden Flashes are off to an abysmal 0-3 start with a 55-24 loss at Pitt in Week 1, a 23-17 loss to FCS St. Francis in Week 2, and a 71-0 bludgeoning at the hands of No. 6 Tennessee in Week 3.
Even with a bye last week, head coach James Frankllin’s team fell from No. 8 in the AP poll to No. 10, so his Nittany Lions could use a dominant victory over an outmatched opponent to regain the confidence of the voters and jump back ahead of No. 9 Oregon.
You can see kickoff at 3:30 p.m. ET on Big Ten Network. Here are the announcers for Saturday’s matchup.
