5 schools Penn State would love to kick out of the Big Ten

The Big Ten is growing, but if Penn State had its say, the Nittany Lions and James Franklin might kick these five schools out of the conference.

. . . 519. . . 4. USC. .

While the Nittany Lions beat Oregon in the 1995 Rose Bowl, the program’s other three Rose Bowl appearances have all ended the same way, with a loss to the USC Trojans. Sure, Franklin’s program is on more level footing than Lincoln Riley’s right now, but Riley, an offensive genius, will quickly find another Heisman-caliber quarterback, if Miller Moss isn’t already.

Revenge for Rose Bowl losses would be nice and Penn State should be favored heading into the matchup this fall out in LA, but long-term it’s much better for the Nittany Lions if the Trojans were playing in a different league. Not to mention the travel is a nightmare when USC or UCLA is on the schedule.
