4 players Mike Rhoades needs to keep at Penn State for his second season
By Justin Segal
Dunn was brought in from North Carolina and had a solid junior season at Penn State. He averaged 6.8 points per game while shooting 36.6% from three. He provided the Nittany Lions with hustle, and the ability to knock down shots. He fit well into Rhoades’s coaching style of pressing the ball and playing fast.
Dunn's impact was not necessarily shown elsewhere in the stat sheet, however. He only averaged a mere 1.8 rebounds, 0.6 assists, and 0.6 steals per game. But this was Dunn's first time getting consistent minutes, and Rhoades will look for him to improve.
The Nittany Lion faithful will hope Rhoades makes a concerted effort to bring back Dunn for his senior season. He is a pivotal role player that offers a lot of offensive and defensive value. Look for Rhoades to make it a priority to retain Dunn for the 2024-25 season.
