10 greatest quarterbacks in Penn State Nittany Lions history
Penn State is known as a physical football program with star linebackers and running backs, but the Nittany Lions have had great quarterbacks leading their offense for years.

Michael Robinson had one year as the full-time starting quarterback at Penn State after playing all over the offense during his first three seasons in Happy Valley. In 2005, once Robinson was finally given the keys to that offense, he dominated, leading Penn State to an 11-1 record and Orange Bowl victory with 2,350 passing yards and 17 passing touchdowns with 806 yards and 11 more scores on the ground.
Robinson finished fifth in Heisman Trophy voting in 2005 and had he come around in 2015 would have certainly played quarterback much earlier in his career and may have even won a Heisman Trophy in a more-prolific spread offense tailored to a dual-threat guy.
