No. 7 Penn State football opened Big Ten play with a disappointing loss to No. 2 Oregon in double overtime. The Nittany Lions face UCLA for their Week 6 matchup, a team that is currently under Tim Skipper's interim head coach role following the firing of DeShaun Foster on Sept. 14. The Bruins are currently 0-4 overall and 0-1 in the conference.

Following the loss to the Ducks, head coach James Franklin is displeased with the lack of consistency on offense. Saturday is a chance for quarterback Drew Allar to regroup, stabilize, and come out feeling confident with a win. The commanding offense from Week 1 against Nevada needs to resurface, and UCLA is a chance for it to handle business accordingly.
