Three-star linebacker Keian Kaiser commits to Penn State football
Kaiser committed to Iowa State on March 25 and remained committed through the Early Signing Period. On Dec. 3, he signed with the Cyclones, but de-committed on Dec. 15. Nearly 10 days later, he received an offer from and committed to the Nittany Lions' program. In between that time, Kaiser also received an offer from Minnesota.
“Coach Campbell and his staff have done a really good job at making me feel like an important part of this recruiting class,” Kaiser said, per On3's Blue White Illustrated. “They’ve always believed very highly in me.”
Aside from Iowa State, Penn State, and Minnesota, the linebacker received two other offers: one from Lindenwood and the other from Wyoming. According to 247Sports Composite rankings, he is the 97th overall linebacker from his class, No. 10 recruit from Nebraska, and the 1,129th recruit across the nation.
As a high school junior in 2024, Kaiser played on both sides of the ball. On defense, he recorded 127 tackles and two interceptions. As a pass catcher, he had 14 receptions for 198 yards and six touchdowns. He also participated track and field since spring of 2023.
In his senior season, he helped lead Sidney High School to a state championship. Kaiser had 111 tackles and 39 tackles for loss. At the tight end position, he had 38 receptions for 572 yards and nine touchdowns.
Kaiser joins a group of nine commits, including Ford, Falzone, Bandhauer, Eglitis, three-star safety Bryson Williams, three-star quarterback Kase Evans, three-star safety Tyrell Chatman, and three-star punter Lucas Tenbrock.
