The 2025 NCAA Women's Volleyball Tournament starts Thursday, Dec. 4 with a huge slate of games kicking off the 64-team postseason run. Of those 64 teams, the Big Ten has nine representatives in the tournament, including No. 8 Penn State.
No. 1 Nebraska, No. 3 Purdue, No. 3 Wisconsin, No. 4 Minnesota, No. 4 USC, No. 4 Indiana, No. 8 UCLA, and Michigan join the Nittany Lions in the First Round that plays over the course of two days, Thursday and Friday.
No. 1 Nebraska vs. LIU
The Cornhuskers are the top team in the country and head into the playoffs undefeated. They also earned home court advantage for the First and Second Round. Nebraska is the only Big Ten team on its corner of the bracket.

The Wolverines are the only unranked team heading into the tournament, but are considered dark horses. Michigan is definitely on upset alert in the First Round against the eighth seed, especially coming from a dominant Big Ten conference.
