Coming off its first loss of the season, 7-1 Penn State will host 5-4 Washington at Beaver Stadium in Week 11. The Nittany Lions were ranked at No. 6 in the first College Football Playoff rankings of the season and the 12-team playoff era. If James Franklin’s team wins out, it should be poised for the first playoff appearance in program history after years of knocking on the door in the four-team format.

This offseason, Penn State selected Week 11 as the White Out game because of fears that FOX would schedule the Ohio State game in Week 10 for a noon kickoff, which came to fruition. However, a year after making the national championship game, the Huskies are in a very different position, which has taken a bit of the shine of this matchup. Following the season, head coach Kalen DeBoer left to become Nick Saban’s successor in Tuscaloosa while much of his roster left for the NFL or the transfer portal. Now Washington hopes to rebuild itself in the Big Ten under Jedd Fisch.

With the Nittany Lions suffering their first loss, and Washington amidst an underwhelming season, NBC buried this White Out matchup on its streaming service, Peacock. No. 10 Notre Dame will play Florida State in primetime on NBC.

Who are the announcers for Washington vs. Penn State?

NBC’s Peacock announcing crew will be in Happy Valley in Week 11 for the White Out game between Washington and Penn State led by play-by-play announcer Paul Burmeister. Burmeister will be joined by former Texas quarterback Colt McCoy in the booth as the color commentator and on the sidelines by reporter Zora Stephenson.
