Four-star linebacker Elijah Littlejohn officially flipped his commitment on Saturday, according to Rivals' Hayes Fawcett.
James Franklin is going all-in to steal several Penn State commits this weekend
Littlejohn committed to Penn State football on June 16 and remained so up until former head coach James Franklin was fired. On Oct. 16, the Class of 2026 defenseman de-committed.
On Nov. 23, Fawcett announced Littlejohn flipped his decision not only out of Penn State, but out of the Big Ten entirely. He committed to No. 4 Georgia on Sunday.

Four-star linebacker Elijah Littlejohn flips commitment from Penn State to Georgia
Following his de-commitment, Littlejohn visited two SEC schools: Vanderbilt and Georgia. He visited the Commodores on Oct. 24 and the Bulldogs on Nov. 21. Before announcing his initial commitment to the Nittany Lions, he also visited Georgia Tech back in June.
Vanderbilt was late to extend Littlejohn an offer, immediately doing so on the day he de-committed. Georgia, on the other hand, tried to get him in Athens, giving him an offer on July 26, 2024. However, his interest wasn't piqued and did not visit the Bulldogs until November 2025. Indiana, Wisconsin, and Ohio State were the other three Big Ten schools that gave Littlejohn an offer.
According to 247Sports Composite rankings, Littlejohn is the 408th top recruit in his class and No. 31 overall linebacker. The North Carolina native is also ranked 18th out of his state.
Georgia dominated Charlotte in Week 13, the weekend Littlejohn was in town. It beat the 49ers 35-3, shutting them out for three quarters. This dominant win kept the Bulldogs fourth on the updated AP Top 25 Poll.
It was unlikely for Penn State to reel Littlejohn back in and earn his re-commitment. Even an emotional win over Nebraska isn't enough to erase the horrors of the Nittany Lions 2025 season, especially without any indication of who will lead the team moving forward.
That instability and lack of Franklin makes Early Signing Day from Dec. 3-5 a daunting event for Penn State. The program has just 10 recruits committed still, with more on their way out. Safety Matt Sieg is unlikely to stay with the Nittany Lions as well as tight end Pierce Petersohn.
Franklin himself is also hoping to flip commitment over to his new home at Virginia Tech, including Sieg, Petersohn, offensive tackle Marlen Bright, interior offensive lineman Benjamin Eziuka, and linebacker Mathieu Lamah.
