No. 6 Kaden Saunders, redshirt freshman

It may not specifically be Saunders, but there is starting to be a bit of a logjam at wide receiver on a team that does not have a dynamic passing game. Somebody is going to leave and I think a potential transfer candidate could be Saunders, a former four-star recruit.

In his two years on campus, Saunders has just seven catches for 64 yards and a touchdown. Against Ohio State, he made two grabs for 25 yards and a score, but even with Harrison Wallace missing most of the Indiana game and all of the Maryland game, Saunders wasn’t involved in the offense.

He has gotten work as a punt returner this year, but if Lambert-Smith and Wallace both return next year, Saunders might test the transfer portal.
