No. 4 Theo Johnson, Junior

With Mike Gesicki, Pat Freiermuth, and Brenton Strange all getting drafted into the NFL over James Franklin’s tenure at Penn State, the Nittany Lions are starting to become known for their tight ends. Theo Johnson will be the next name on that list, either in 2024 or 2025.

As a junior, Johnson has produced 246 yards and four touchdowns on 24 catches through eight games. Johnson will likely test the NFL waters despite having one year of eligibility left.
