Big Ten quarterback power rankings: Drew Allar and every other B1G QB
By Josh Yourish
Big Ten QB rankings No. 9: Braedyn Locke, Wisconsin
- 370 passing yards
- 2 TDs 1 interceptions
- 51.4% completion
- 5.1 yards per attempt
There isn’t exactly a big sample size on Braedyn Locke. The freshman from Texas has shown some promise on Phil Longo’s offense at Wisconsin since taking over for Tanner Mordecai. What is encouraging is that he improved from his performance against Iowa in a 15-6 loss and played much better in the Badgers 25-21 comeback win over Illinois.
Against Illinois, Locke threw for 240 yards on 21/41 passing with two touchdowns and no interceptions. He has an average depth of target of 8.8, so he’s not just checking the ball down constantly. Against Illinois, his ADOT was an impressive 9.6 and he faced 13 pressures.
