Now this is the pie in the sky, the white whale, the real dream.
It’s pretty clear to everyone that Urban Meyer is not a very good guy, his antics in Jacksonville proved that once and for all, but he is a great college football coach. Meyer has won everywhere he has gone, including Ohio State, and it’s only a matter of time before his name is at the top of every team with a vacancy’s list.
Meyer would recruit on the level of Ohio State and Michigan and probably have the master-apprentice relationship with Ryan Day that Nick Saban has with every one of his former coaches.
He is 187-32 as a college coach with three national championships at two different places, and he’s still only 59 years old. Need I say more?
