Mountain West Conference

The Nittany Lions have only played 25% of the 12 teams in the MWC. This leaves Boise State, Colorado State, Fresno St., Hawaii, Nevada, UNLV, New Mexico, San Jose St., and Wyoming as first-time opponents. Penn State has PLAYED in Hawaii, but in the Aloha Bowl against Washington in 1983. First, these schools in the Mountain West really need to learn the concept of “State”. Having said that, the Nittany Lions’ all-white unis would look badass on the “Smurf-Turn” of Boise.

South Eastern Conference

Ole Miss and Mississippi State: Interestingly enough, Penn State football has never squared off against a Power 5 school in the state of Mississippi. One (or both) of these schools could easily find their way on a future schedule of the Nittany Lions down the road.
