The unknown can be frightening at times in the world of college football. In the summer months, it’s easy to convince yourself that your favorite team has no weaknesses or gaps to worry about, but unfortunately, that is not the reality for any team. Just because I think an area is a question mark doesn’t mean I think it’s a weakness going into the 2023 season. For me, a question mark for the Penn State football team means we need these players or position groups to prove themselves on the field this fall.

Overall, Penn State has multiple things working in their favor this season. Coming off of an 11-2 season as the defending Rose Bowl champions certainly helps, but let’s face it there are a few areas that need to be solidified before the Nittany Lions enter the 2023 season. Thankfully, these three question marks are more around the lack of playing time than the lack of talent.
