Penn State Football: Scholarship Offered to 2024 QB Trever Jackson
The search for the 2024 QB continues for the Penn State football team. On Tuesday 2024 QB Trever Jackson shared on social media that he was offered a scholarship to Penn State.
Jackson is a 3-star prospect according to 247sports and a 4-star prospect according to On3. He currently attends West Orange High School in Florida. He holds offers from Texas A&M, Houston, Indiana, Illinois, and multiple other schools.
When you watch his film, he has a lot to offer as a quarterback. The first thing you notice is his athleticism, he is not afraid to run the ball and he can break tackles in the open space. As far as throwing the ball he offers a variety of highlights there as well. From a 50-yard hail mary to win the game, to beautiful touch passes, and that tight spiral you’d want to see on out-routes. Check out his 2022 highlights below.

The Nittany Lions are on Jackson early, other teams like Ohio State, Miami, and Florida State have an interest in Jackson; however, they have yet to offer him a scholarship. Sometimes it’s about developing that relationship early with these players. The more trust Coach Franklin and company can build here the better the odds will be to land Jackson.
Currently, Jackson and 2024 QB Ethan Grunkemeyer seem to be at the top of Penn State football’s big board for quarterbacks. That certainly can change as State College will host the regional round of the Elite 11 in May. Because of this, the Penn State football coaching staff will get to see a variety of talent from all over the country. I would not be surprised if they offered a player or two after that event wraps up.
Speaking of the Elite 11, Jackson is an Elite 11 finalist for the 2023 Elite 11 Finals, the top quarterbacks in the country will battle it out in a three-day competition in Los Angeles, CA.
I would keep an eye on Jackson to see how he preforms out there. This is another QB prospect that would fit well in State College.
