Picture this, it’s the beginning of 2017 and Penn State football has just won the Big Ten Championship. They went to the Rose Bowl and lost a shootout to USC. However, many of those talented players will be back again in the fall.

Now, fast forward to today. The year 2023 and the NFL draft is just one week away. Since 2017 Penn State football has had 32 players drafted into the NFL. That’s a pretty incredible statistic when you stop and think about it. Not all of those players made an NFL roster, some have had more success than others but regardless Penn State has been able to put some real talent into the NFL over the past few years. All of this comes under head coach James Franklin.

Today, I will rank my top 5 Penn State football players based on their NFL careers thus far. I know everyone will not agree with this selection or even the order of the players. I am ranking these players in order of the value they have brought to their team over the years.
