Penn State Football: The 2023 Safety Room is Loaded with Talent

The Penn State football secondary will be a challenge for opposing offenses in 2023. The cornerbacks are led by Kalen King, Storm Duck, Johnny Dixon, Cam Miller, and Daequan Hardy.

The safety room is equally as talented, which makes the secondary even more lethal. After the Blue-White game, it’s clear the starting safeties will be great but so will the depth behind them.

It’s clear that Penn State football has one of the best secondaries in the Big Ten in 2023, this unit might be one of the best in the country. One of the elements of Manny Diaz’s coaching style is always a deep rotation at every position. He also challenges the secondary to not just cover while the ball is in the air, he also asks them to load the box and blitz, they also need to be sound tacklers as well.

Today we will review all of the safeties that will be in the rotation for the 2023 season.
