We are a few days away from the 2023 Blue-White game, this is the 15th and final spring practice for the Penn State football team. This is also the last time with full padded practices until the end of July / early August.

There are several Nittany Lions with a lot to prove ahead of this game. When I say a lot to prove I mean, either the expectations are very high for this player to do well this season, or a player that has yet to make their mark on the program early in their career.

On the offensive side of the ball, it’s tough to find a role, even if you’re a highly recruited player. So many talented veteran players ahead of you and the opportunities these players have to make an impression are somewhat limited.

This is one of the many reasons I enjoy watching the Blue-White game. Although it’s a scrimmage, this is much more than that to the players that want to expand their roles on the team. Plus, getting together with 75,000 plus of the best fans in college football is the perfect way to spend a Saturday.

After Saturday’s game, we will gain more clarity on if these players will be in the rotation in 2023 or not.
