Penn State Football has had considerable success when it comes to pulling Quarterbacks from out of state. If you look at where the most recent Quarterback signings have come from, they haven’t come from Pennsylvania. Drew Allar, Jaxon Smolik, and Christian Veilleux are all from out of state, with Beau Pribula being the lone Pennsylvanian. The following Quarterbacks are high on the Penn State board and are from out of state.

QB KJ Jackson-Montgomery, AL

Quarterback KJ Jackson is a four-star recruit from SEC country that Penn State Football is trying to lure north. Along with Penn State, Ole Miss, Kentucky, and Arkansas are all heavily involved in Jackson’s recruitment.

Penn State has been able to get Jackson on campus twice last summer and would benefit from at least another visit. KJ Jackson has the skill set that Mike Yurcich looks for and because of that is one of Penn States’ top targets

QB Jayden Bradford-Chapin, SC

Quarterback Jayden Bradford is a four-star recruit that Penn State is in a battle with Carolina schools for his commitment. Jayden Bradford updated his top schools in early March. He is down to three schools, Penn State, South Carolina, and NC State.

Bradford has visited Happy Valley three times with one of those being the White Out game against Auburn. If the Penn State staff can gain a commitment from the South Carolina native against his hometown team, that would say a lot about where Penn State stands recruiting wise.
