1.  KeAndre Lambert-Smith

Lambert-Smith enters his junior year in 2023 and he has been the third option in the offense for the majority of his time with the Penn State football team. But that all changed during the 2023 Rose Bowl. On the biggest stage he shined, 3 catches for 124 yards and 1 touchdown against Utah. KLS truly looked like he unleashed his potential before our very eyes. Also, against Michigan State last season, he became the first player in program history to throw a touchdown pass and catch a touchdown in the same game.

He stands 6’1 and has blazing speed. To me, it would be ideal for the WR room to see KLS take over that #1 role. For them to see a player who has stayed at Penn State and worked hard to take over as the guy, I think that would inspire others to stay and try to do the same.

This player can dominate the competition, plus he already has existing chemistry with Drew Allar from practice last season. If he can stay healthy and clean up some of the drops, KLS has my vote to be WR1 in 2023.
