7. DE Adisa Isaac

Another player poised for a monster senior season is defensive end Adisa Isaac.

After missing all of 2021 with an injury, Isaac returned in 2022, and after shaking off some rust, had a really solid season.

Playing in all 13 games, Isaac recorded 28 tackles with a team-high 11 TFLs and four sacks. Now fully healthy, and with another great pass rusher starting opposite of him, Isaac has a chance to make some serious noise in 2023.

Under defensive coordinator Manny Diaz, Penn State has emphasized chaos plays. Isaac is a perfect defensive end for this system with his ability to get after the passer but also his strong play against the run, as evident by his 11 TFLs.

Penn State Football has always prided itself on being able to get after the quarterback, with Isaac and others, the Nittany Lions are poised to continue that tradition in 2023.
