1. OT Olu Fashanu

Penn State Football enters the 2023 season with arguably the best offensive lineman in the nation on its roster in Olu Fashanu.

As a redshirt sophomore in 2022, Fashanu quickly emerged as a star at left tackle, allowing zero sacks and minimal pressures. This play turned into Fashanu receiving first round draft hype for the 2023 NFL Draft.

An injury against Ohio State would end Fashanu’s season though, and he ultimately decided to return to Penn State in 2023.

The Nittany Lions sure are happy he did, as Fashanu will be tasked with protecting Drew Allar’s blindside this season.

Now fully healthy, Fashanu is back in the weight room and is currently listed at 6-foot-6 and 323 pounds. He will be a force on the offensive line for the Nittany Lions and could help carry this team to special things in 2023.

On3 ranks Fashanu as the eighth best returning player in the nation for the 2023 season.
