Aaron Chiles

Another highly touted target in the region is 4-star Aaron Chiles from Maryland.

Rated as the No. 88 player in the nation, Chiles holds offers from Alabama, Clemson, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Texas, Texas A&M, USC and others. Everyone is after him.

Chiles is from Olney, MD, a region of the state that the Nittany Lions have done a solid job of recruiting over the years.

Listed at 6-foot-3 and 220 pounds, Chiles has the size to play the WILL linebacker position. He’s had success in high school as an edge rusher, as evident from his 10 sacks and 15 TFLs this past season. There’s even the chance that Chiles could grow into an edge player, meaning he would not count towards a remaining linebacker spot in the class.

The only issue is it looks like Penn State Football is playing catch up in this recruitment. Chiles already has official visits lined up to Florida and Michigan. He still has three remaining to use, so we will see if Penn State receives one from him.
