Levko Higgins

Year: Graduate Student
Weight: 184/197
Major: Nuclear Engineering
Hometown: Palmyra, Pa.

Penn State Career

Levko began his collegiate wrestling career at George Mason back in 2017. There he suited up in 24 matches his true freshman season.

Higgins then transferred to Penn State Behrend and continued to complete in six total matches the next two years before transferring to University Park.

While wrestling for the Nittany Lions, Levko took part in 26 matches the last three seasons spanning between the Jonathan Kaloust Bearcat Open, David Lehman Open, Mat Town Open, Edinboro Open, and in a regular season dual meet against Indiana.

Prior to Penn State

Before ending up in Happy Valley, Higgins wrestled for Palmyra High School were he was a four time letterman and captain of his team his senior year.

Higgins was a two time MAWA All-American, a two time AAU All-American, and a Flo Nationals All-American.

Levko won the Columbia title his freshman year, was a three time sectional champion, and a state qualifier his final season in high school.

Seeing that Higgins’ current major at Penn State is Nuclear Engineering, it should come no surprise that he was a National Honors Society member while at Palmyra High School.

Wrestling was also not the only sport Levko played growing up. He was actually a three-sport athlete in high school with soccer and track & field being his other passions in the sports world.
