Penn State landed two elite linebackers from Virginia in 2023 in Tony Rojas and Kaveion Keys and there is another big fish out there in 2024.

That recruit is 4-star Kristopher Jones from Stafford, VA. Jones is rated as the No. 85 player in the country and has an impressive offer sheet that includes Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Tennessee.

Listed at 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds, Jones has ideal size for a linebacker and would be another huge addition to the linebacker room.

Jones is no stranger to Penn State. He attended the White Out game back in October and was on campus in January for a Junior Day. The Nittany Lions will no doubt sell him on the success of Micah Parsons, Abdul Carter and possibly his fellow Virginians as well.

Playing time will also be a selling point. Curtis Jacobs will move on after 2023 and if things continue the way they went in 2022, Abdul Carter will be off to the NFL after the 2024 season. There will be an opportunity for early playing time for Jones.

Penn State already has one 4-star linebacker committed in Anthony Speca, but adding Jones would give the Nittany Lions another elite haul at the linebacker position.
