WR Keylen Adams

Keylen Adams is a name that has been brought up a lot recently, and for good reason.

The 4-star wide receiver from Virginia Beach, VA is arguably the top wide out on Penn State’s board for the 2024 cycle.

Rated as the No. 104 player in the country, the 6-foot-1 Adams recently put Penn State in his top four along with Pitt, West Virginia and Virginia Tech. When going up against competition like that in a recruitment, it’s reasonable to say this is one Penn State should win.

The Nittany Lions received a huge boost in Adams’ recruitment when it added Virginia wide receivers coach Marques Hagans as the replacement for Taylor Stubblefield.

Hagans has a pretty good relationship with Adams considering Virginia was his third offer, back in November of 2020. Hagans no longer being at Virginia may be a reason why the Cavaliers were left off of Adams’ top four.

After landing just one wide receiver in the 2023 class, it’s important for the Nittany Lions to add multiple difference makers at the position in 2024. A big year from quarterback Drew Allar may help entice Adams and others to join the fold.
