ATH Quinton Martin

As mentioned earlier, Penn State Football has done a better job of keeping the top talent home.

Well, there’s no talent better in Pennsylvania in the 2024 class than 5-star athlete Quinton Martin. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound versatile athlete has offers from Florida State, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M.

This is a big-time recruitment, but if Penn State wants to play in the College Football Playoffs, it’s the type of recruitment it needs to win.

From Belle Vernon, PA, Martin is capable of playing running back, linebacker, safety and possibly even wide receiver at the next level.

Thankfully for Penn State, those are four positions the Nittany Lions can sell success at, and with fellow Pennsylvanians.

At running back, there’s Saquon Barkley, Miles Sanders, Journey Brown and now Nick Singleton, all in-state guys that were stars at PSU. Linebacker speaks for itself, but recent stars from the Keystone State include Micah Parsons and Abdul Carter. At wide receiver, there’s Jahan Dotson and hopefully now Dante Cephas. Finally at safety, the two Lackawanna stars in Jaquan Brisker and Ji’Ayir Brown.

Needless to say, Penn State can give quite the recruiting pitch to Martin.

Martin will be a tough pull though, and the Nittany Lions could certainly use a strong 2023 season to help their case. Martin just feels like the type of talent that can help Penn State Football take the next step.
