Drew Allar

What more needs to be said. 2023 is the season that Penn State Football has been waiting for. A five-star Quarterback with a rocket arm and mobility starting for the Nittany Lions. Drew Allar might have the best arm talent in the history of Penn State.

Even better, Drew Allar picked up a ton of experience during his freshman campaign. While there will be some growing pains and some decision making that will go awry, the talent is there. Allar appeared in ten games and will have an entire offseason program to get comfortable in Mike Yurcichs’ offense.

James Franklin has also surrounded Allar with what could be the most talented group of playmakers during his tenure. Allar will have arguably the best offensive line and running back room that Penn State has seen in years. Franklin has also added transfer wide receivers Dante Cephas and Malik McClain.

The staff senses something special with this group and are going all out to finally take that final step and reach the College Football Playoffs. Drew Allar will be one of the biggest reasons why the Nittany Lions will finally reach the promised lands.
