141 No. 2 Real Woods
149 No. 6 Max Murin
157 No. 21 Cobe Siebrecht

174 No. 17 Nelson Brands
184 No. 8 Abe Assad
197 No. 6 Jacob Warner
285 No. 3 Tony Cassioppi

The Hawkeyes have been very active on the mat so far this year as they try to break in a drastically different lineup from prior years.

Half of Iowa’s lineup is new compared to what they trotted out last season. Well, actually it’s six but I don’t think anyone has to worry about Spencer Lee and his production at 125. Speaking of Lee, he actually wrestled a match this year!

Lee took part in the Iowa State dual and demolished his opponent 16-5 for his first official match since December of last year.

On the year, the Hawkeyes have wins against California Baptist (42-3), Army (28-13, Sacred Heart (35-6), Buffalo (35-7), No. 26 Penn (26-11), No. 7 Iowa State (18-15), and Chattanooga (27-12).

Iowa will only go as far as Brody Teske, Max Murin, Patrick Kennedy, Abe Assad, and Jacob Warner can take them. Spencer Lee, Real Woods, and Tony Cassioppi will take care of their business so it’s up to the other guys to make sure they don’t under perform.

Next up for the Hawkeyes is the Solder Salute on December 29th and 30th in Coralville, Iowa.
